SYTYCW comes to an end

I've really enjoyed the So You Think You Can Write event this week. So much useful information and inspiration given over the last 5 days. I completed the challenge every day - dug through some of my old writing and got a good idea of just how sad some of the things that I'd written were - and I've been even more inspired to keep writing.

Brenda Chin, an editor for Blaze, did an amazing blog post about having an editor helping to build your career as a writer. Definitely something that I want to have some day.

But first I guess I have to write those words that will give that editor a reason to want me. I've been torn the last few days about what to write. I have my Billionaire story that did well in the New Voices contest - I have old writing that is finished and just needs polished up - or I have a new idea simmering for a Desire that I've always wanted to write. I HAVE to get something together by December 15th to enter in the SYTYCW. The grand prize of publication is just too good to not try.

Is everyone else working on something to send in?
